According to the Denver Post, Broncos rookie running back Ryan Torain fractured his elbow in practice this morning and will be out 2-3 months. Torain was competing for the starting tailback position along with Selvin Young and Andre Hall.
Fantasy Impact: This clears things up a bit in Denver. It looked like Torain was set to get the goaline carries this season but with this injury he could end up being a non factor until mid season. Selvin Young is the favorite here and now goes from a guy you shouldn't touch to a # 3 back with upside if named the starter. At least I think...who knows with Mike Shanahan.
