Ryan Grant ends holdout

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with running back Ryan Grant, ending his 7 day holdout. It's rumored that Grant has agreed to a 4 year deal that could be worth up to 30 million dollars. Grant will make 4.25 million this season. Grant rushed for 956 yards and 8 touchdowns last year. He also gained 201 yards in the divisional playoff game against Seattle.

Fantasy Impact: That's a pretty big contract for a guy who had a good half season but considering the shelf life of running backs, who can blame him for wanting to get paid. The Packers are paying Grant like a feature back but we're still not 100 percent sold. If Aaron Rodgers plays well, Grant should have running room. If not, he could struggle. Grant will be a solid # 2 back this year but don't consider him to be a number 1. He is worth a late 2nd, early 3rd round selection.
